Food drive for homeless (3 hours Service) (Out-of-School) -2-
Yesterday, I've visited the orphanage we visited before and I saw many familiar faces. They were so happy to see me once again. We brought Vietnamese Noodle, biscuits, jelly and some home baked bread from home to share with them. While the leaders of the group set up a corner for food, we played and shared personal thoughts with them. They shared their feelings of life in orphanage and I also shared my thoughts about my life. Exciting part of it was that I taught them some Korean greeting words. They respected me like if I was their teacher and it really felt good. I had an urge to be a teacher in the future to help these young kids. Its a great experience for me to try out these kind of work and I am really enjoying it. Next time, I am going to try my best to teach them more Korean greeting words because many Korean groups of people support this orphanage. It will be really useful for them to use it to their next Korean people they meet.
